President, Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer, Scotty Elliott is charged with developing a tactical plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization. Additionally, Scotty oversees daily operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources. Scotty comes to One Life America with a professional background in education and pharmaceuticals. He served Mississippi College as Director of Admissions, spearheading the recruitment campaign and strategy for the undergraduate school. Additionally, he was a member of GlaxoSmithKline's world-class product promotional team, garnering numerous sales awards during his employment. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Mississippi College in 2005 and a Masters Degree in Business from Mississippi College in 2007. He was elected into the Mississippi College Hall of Fame on May 12, 2005.
Vice President, Chief Operations Officer
As Chief Operations Officer, Bill Cole oversees our day to day management, Agent Services, Contracting, Licensing, and Information Technologies. Bill started his career in 2000 as a Software Engineer with Peavey Electronics. Bill wrote custom production and testing software who’s sole purpose was to streamline and ensure quality (some of which, are still is use today). As a stand out performer, Bill joined Ideal Software in 2003 as their Director of Support where he over saw the satisfaction of over 2500 clients worldwide; often credited in going above and beyond the call just to ensure client satisfaction. Bill joined One Life in 2010 to emerge our company into technical relevancy. Bill oversaw custom software pieces, reporting suites, 24/7 support line, and a network administration staff. Bill continued to further the productivity and the life cycle of resources and products together - still focusing on client satisfaction. Promoted to One Life’s COO in 2015, Bill continues to lead One Life by leveraging technology to increase profitability. Bill continues to be a stand out performer, who’s work ethic is second to none. Bill says, “You teach what you know, but you reproduce what you are."
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Cathy Shinagawa is charged with the leadership of the following departments: Accounting, Commissions, Collections, Payroll and Systems Administration. Cathy has over 30 years of financial operations experience in the life insurance industry. Her background includes the role of Controller for the life insurance companies of Life Partners Group, Inc., development of numerous agent owned reinsurance companies, and as a consultant for major insurance companies and large field marketing organizations. She has participated in an IPO and negotiated reinsurance contracts. She has also served on the Society of Actuaries Reinsurance Treaty Committee. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. She has achieved designations of CPA, CLU, ChFC and FLMI.
Senior Vice President, Chief Sales Officer
As Vice President of Sales, Scott Glanton oversees the productivity of One Life’s agent force. Scott is instrumental in the ongoing growth of One Life’s field and telephony sales units. Scott began his career at One Life in 2000 as a general agent and he quickly climbed the managerial ranks, assembling a championship team of agents along the way. He graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Education from Augusta State University where he was a four-year member of the Jaguar baseball team.
Vice President of Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Lee Mowry works to grow the brokerage side of the business, recruit and train agents, and help negotiate contracts with new carriers. Lee came to One Life in 2014 after 44 years of a distinguished career in the insurance industry. He graduated from Georgia Tech as an engineer, then became an insurance agent in 1970 and built a successful independent marketing organization. He joined Occidental Life of North Carolina as Vice President of Marketing in 1993. In 1998 he moved to Shenandoah Life as Vice President of Marketing and Sales. He spent 11 years there before joining AmeriLife, where he was President of the IMO division for five years before being recruited to join the One Life team. Mowry says "I've finally landed my dream job with the dream team."
Vice President of Health Sales
As Vice President of Health Sales, Brandon Clay will oversee our tactical reengagement into the Senior Health Market - namely Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and ancillary products focused on the rapidly growing senior population. Brandon comes to One Life with over 30 years of sales and leadership experience. He has held several positions on the carrier side, including United Healthcare, Cigna and, most notably, Care Improvement Plus (CIP) as Senior National Director of Sales and Product. He will focus on training, development and marketing support to initiate an unparalleled model of profitable, sustainable growth for One Life and its partners in the Medicare arena. Brandon is a noted author, speaker, sales strategist and coach and his greatest joy is helping people get better at their God-given purpose and destiny."
Vice President of Marketing
As Vice President of Marketing, David Hosch is charged with One Life brand strategy, recruiting strategy, sales incentives, social media managment, video production and event planning for our company. David spent four years in retail management before joining One Life in 1995. He has been an agent, manager, Agency Director and fulfilled many staff roles in his tenure with One Life. David has effectively “worked his way up the ladder” with our company. In 2016, He was awarded the prestigious honor of receiving the One Life Core Value award.
David is very involved with his church, family and serves as President of the Board for his local Habitat For Humanity affiliate during 2016/2017.
Ted DiBiase, Jr.
Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Ted DiBiase, Jr. is involved with many facets of One Life’s operations. He is responsible for spearheading One Life’s exploration of new markets to enhance value proposition to agents and diversify ongoing growth efforts. Additionally, he is heavily involved in One Life’s Leadership Development and Marketplace Ministry programs. Ted began his career at One Life in 2016. He came to One Life after enjoying a very successful stint in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) industry for seven years. Ted also starred in a movie (Marine 2) and served as the National Spokesman for the National Guard with WWE. Ted graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Mississippi College where he was a member of both the collegiate Football and Soccer teams.
Greg Snowden has served as legal counsel for One Life America, and its predecessor and affiliated companies, for more than 20 years. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of Alabama, B.A., magna cum laude, 1976, and of Vanderbilt University Law School, J.D., 1979, Greg began his legal career with the firm of Holland & Knight, Lakeland, Florida. Since returning home to Meridian in 1981, Greg continuously has been engaged in the private practice of law, first with a law firm, and since 1995 as a sole practitioner. A four-term Republican member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, he was first elected in 1999 and re-elected in 2003, 2007 and 2011. Since January 2012, Greg has served as Speaker Pro Tempore of the House of Representatives, the second-highest office of that body, and is Chairman of the Mississippi House Republican Caucus. Greg is a member of the Florida Bar, the Mississippi Bar, and the American Bar Association, and he is active in the Lauderdale County Bar Association.
